Drum Major Paul Edgar

Drum Major Paul Edgarstarted his career as a Drum Major late in life, at the age of 45.  After many years of following Inverclyde Juvenile Pipe Band supporting his kids (Craig and Heather) Paul decided to follow in his Father’s footsteps and become a "Drummie".

He tracked down a reputable tutor in the form of the renowned Billy Jordan of Dumbarton and District Pipe Band and started lessons in September 2007.  It was through Billy and his contacts that Paul was introduced to East Kilbride Pipe Band.

He took on the demanding roll of Drum Major at the start of the 2008 season and began working immediately with both bands with a view to improve on the marching and deportment and enhance the overall appearance of the band.
